The rule of the singles of squash of WSF will
apply. Also CSRA’s handbook regarding national point system
will apply.
Please note
that as from this event, CSRA’s handbook regarding National
point system will apply and each participation will be calculated
for the athletes National ranking.
Juniors: Boys and Girls under
the ages 13,15,17 and 19 and plate events. Entry to the Plate
events requires participation to the main event in the same category.
Seniors: Men's Draw, Men's
plate*, places 5-8. Ladies Draw, Ladies plate, places 5-8. Entry
to the plate event requires participation to the main event in
the same category.
Trophies will be given to the winners of the
3 first places of the main categories and to the winners of the
2 first places in the plate event.
Any player holding a valid health certificate
is eligible to enter the tournament. Dead line for
submitting all entries for juniors is Friday 18th and for seniors
Monday 21st of November. All entries should sent
by emailed to the Nicosia Squash Association. email: nicosiasquash@cytanet.com.cy
Late entries or entries received without payment
will not be accepted. The Nicosia Squash Association accepts no
responsibility for non arrival of entries.
For all NSA junior members the entry will be
free of charge. For juniors non-members the entry fee is €15.
For all NSA senior members holding the "competition"
membership package of the Nicosia Squash Association the entry
will be free of charge. For seniors non-members the entry fee
is €25.
Once an entry has been submitted the fees must
be paid irrespective of whether the player has missed any of his/her
matches. All participants will be given a tournament souvenir.
The rankings will be decided by the C.S.R.A.
tournament committee.
The draw for the junior events will take place
at Eleftheria courts on Monday 21st November, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.
The draw for the senior events will take place
at Eleftheria courts on Wednesday 23rd November, 2011 at 7:30
p.m. All players are invited to be present at the draw.
Players enter the Tournament at their own risk.
The Nicosia Squash Association, the Cyprus Squash Association
and the sponsors DO NOT accept any responsibility for either injury
arising from participation, or loss of property in this event.
If a player has entered for the tournament
does not show up, or does not play all the matches for final places,
will be banned from participating in the next tournament. In case
the C.S.R.A. office receives a doctor's certificate within 2 days
after the final day of the tournament, the case will be re-examined.
All matches for the junior events will take
place on weekdays from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Weekend from 9:00
a.m. - 7:00 p.m. For the senior events all matches will be held
from 6:00 -10:30 p.m. on Weekdays and from 9:00 am to 7:00 p.m.
on Weekend. Please note that all players should be able to attend
during the above-mentioned hours, because NO changes of the timetable
will be allowed.
All first day match schedules will be with Mihalis
Lyras (99663970) on Wednesday morning 23rd of November for the
junior events and on Friday morning 25th of November for the senior
events.
All players are requested to turn up fifteen
minutes before their scheduled match time. Players who are more
than 10 minutes late will be disqualified from the tournament.
The finals for all the events will be held on Saturday afternoon.
Every match winner is obliged by the rules
of the tournament to referee one match following their own. Failure
to comply may result to disqualification of the player.
