17th Tournament of Friendship SPE Strovolou- March 2004

Dear members,

We would like to give some information on the events concerning the tournament. The squash tournament falls under the umbrella of the SPE Strovolou 'Tournament of Friendship', in which 13 sports participate. The official opening ceremony of the 'Tournament of Friendship' took place on Wednesday 10th at the Falcon school in Strovolos. The ceremony began at 6:30 pm. Everybody were welcome (no reservations required), there where tournament souvenirs (T-shirts, scarves and caps) for those who attendend and free lottery tickets for a draw of valuable prizes. Our tournament began on Monday 15th March and finished on Saturday the 20th when all the finals took place. The closing ceremony will take place (along with the other 13 participating sports) on the 25th of March, at 8:00 pm at the Hilton Park hotel. The winners will be awarded their trophies there, and all athletes will receive a participation medal.Closing date for entries, Friday 5th March 2004.
